What is Alaska Crafter?

Alaska Crafter was a column and subsequent blog published by The Juneau Empire and The Capital City Weekly on a bi-monthly basis between 2007 - 2012.  Tanna Peters, or the Alaska Crafter, wrote and illustrated tutorials, interviewed local craftspeople and artists, reviewed and wrote about local craft events all while she connected with the larger craft community.  The blog is reposted here for your reference and enjoyment as many of the projects and tutorials are still relevant.  If you have any questions for the Alaska Crafter please use the contact page here.
